The L214 Association invites you take part in the “Veggie Challenge”

The L214 association is encouraging French people to take on the well-known Veggie Challenge with its posters in the metro and awareness-raising initiatives. They offer to support people for three weeks if they are prepared to rise to the challenge.

The metro in Paris is full of posters advertising the Veggie Challenge. Other French towns such as Limoges have seen awareness-raising campaigns about the practice. These operations are run by the L214 association. In addition to this, new veggies will receive an information email every morning, containing nutritional and practical information, delicious recipes, ethical thoughts and tips for the Veggie Challenge. These will be sent by the association L214 which also runs the VeganPratique and VegOresto campaigns to promote moving over to a vegetarian or even vegan diet. The Veggie Challenge helps those who are interested to succeed in this transition which will allow them to preserve their environment.

According to a YouGov survey carried out in 2015, 62% of French people are prepared to reduce their consumption of meat. 55% of them would gladly welcome vegetarian alternatives in work and school canteens. An Ipsos survey carried out last year adds that 49% of French people could adapt their diet to match their personal convictions. In order to achieve this, they can turn to the Veggie Challenge, which will give them the necessary advice for a healthy vegetarian, or vegan diet. They have balanced vegan menus created by a dietician-nutritionist. L214 helps to promote vegetarianism and veganism, which is now considered by society as an ethical and ecological mode of consumption.
